Follow Tip Friday: Attend the Donald Asher Lecture

Are you a graduating Senior or student going off to your first "real-world" job?  If so, you should definitely attend Donald Asher's lecture "Choose It, Learn It, Live It" from his book Who Gets Promoted, Who Doesn't, and Why. The lecture is from 6:00-7:00 on March 11th, 2014 in HBB 402. Those attending can expect to learn:

• Successfully handling your first big project
• Tips for dealing with difficult, demanding supervisors
• How to start yourself on a success spiral
• Stragegies for getting your first promotion
• Tips on the unwritten rules of today's workplace

Donald Asher is an internationally known speaker and has written 12 books, including Who Gets Promoted Who Doesn't and Why which was named Career Management Book of the Year--this guy definitely knows what he's talking about!
