Make a block in your schedule to prioritize
your career by attending one of this week’s events:

locations where we will be present this week to get your resume critiqued by
staff from the Center for Career Development before you attend one, two, or all
three of the job fairs next week.
Career Fair Success Strategies: Presented as a part of job fair preparation
week, this workshop is designed to prepare you to interact with employers in a
career fair setting. Hear from actual employers about the career fair
"do's and don'ts" and how best to prepare for a job fair to make a
great first impression.
Presidential Management Fellows Overview and
Information Session:
This information session will provide an
overview of the Presidential Management Fellows Program, a prestigious
fellowship program for students with advanced degrees.
From the PMF website, "Bearing the
Presidential moniker, the PMF Program is a flagship leadership development
program at the entry level for advanced degree candidates. It was created more
than three decades ago by Executive Order and has gone through many changes
over the years. The Program attracts and selects the best candidates possible,
but is really designed with a more narrow focus - developing a cadre of
potential government leaders. It provides some sustenance during the first
years of employment and encourages development of leadership capabilities. The
PMF Program inculcates a lasting bond as well as a spirit of public service,
ultimately encouraging and leading to a career in the government."
Career Conversations: Museums, Archives, and
Libraries:
Join us for A Night at the Museum: Careers in
Museums, Archives, and Libraries. This event is part of the Career
Conversations for Arts and Sciences series, and it will feature a panel of
individuals working in these fields. Explore real-world options with a panel of
curators, archivists, and librarians via a facilitated panel discussion and
questions and answer session.
Job Fair Workshop for Engineers: Come learn how to be successful and stand out
from the crowd at the upcoming job fair! Presented by DENSO.
