Let’s
start this week off here in Big Orange Country with some stress relieving tips!
As college students, the pressure to keep moving forward may become
overwhelming sometimes. While we are wrapping up midterms and making the final changes
to our Spring semester schedules, we should consider the Five Essential
Elements of our personal Wellbeing.
1. Purpose Wellbeing: Make
daily goals, remember your strengths, and remind yourself of who “YOU” are
2. Social Wellbeing:
Have fun, hang out with friends, and enjoy your life
3. Financial Wellbeing: Spend
money only on your necessities, create a savings plan, reward yourself, and
remember, “Money does not buy happiness”
4. Physical Wellbeing: Keep a healthy diet,
exercise often, and most importantly get plenty of sleep
5. Community Wellbeing: Create
a sense of engagement in the area where you live, feel safe in your community,
preserve the environment, have a peaceful home, and volunteer your time to help
others
So
the next time you are stressed, just remember the Five Essential Elements of “YOUR” Wellbeing!
